Just to say we had a great time in Killin, it really is a beautiful place and the locals were really friendly. You are so lucky to call it home. Special thanks to all at the Coach House and Killin Hotel, especially Bea who made us feel so welcome. It was good to meet Leo the Killin cat, who came to Maragowan caravan site to say goodbye the day we left.

My Grandfather and Grandmother (God Bless their souls) both lived in Killin and I visited there many times as a child for a month or two at a time. I loved the village and how different it was from my suburban upbringing in the States. I can still picture the scenery, the beauty of the falls, and the simplicity of life there. I also remember the school children I used to play with there. Now that I have two boys of my own, I'm thinking of taking them there.

Hello from Dover
Myself, my cousin and uncle are staying in Killin at Highland Log Cabins from Saturday. Looks a great village. The floods looked terrible in Jan, hope all have recovered.

I'm looking forward to seeing the local sites and visiting the odd local inn! Your website has been really helpful and I look forward to meeting all the locals. Hope you'll be able to visit my site and hope to see you in Dover one day too.

Great website :)

Terry

To the Town of Killin: Scott and I had a wonderful time in your town when we stayed there for a week in June. Everyone made us feel like home. The stay in Killin was our most fun we have had on a vacation in a long time. We didn't want to leave. But we family history to trace in Aberdeen and that turned out better than we thought. We want to thank all of you we came in contact with for showing us a great time. We hope to return in two years. Hope we will be able to pick up where we left off. Stephanie at 'Old Smiddy's' good luck with the wedding plans, hope all goes well.

Best Wishes always,

Darla and Scott Cofer

Just spent a wonderful sunny week in Killin staying at Killin Lodges and would like to say what a beautiful place Killin is and how friendly the locals are who I met. I would love to visit Scotland again and it would be very likely that I would stay in Killin.

Thank you from Jenny in Telford and her noisy black n white terrier Spud!
