We now present you with the Killin News in a PDF (Portable Document File). This format of file greatly reduces the processing time from a QuarkXPress file (at the Killin News end) to an 'Internet compatible' file (at our end) from literally two weeks to half a minute, a massive difference. The only 'downside' to a PDF file is that issues are relatively large in size, usually taking around 5-8 minutes to download the whole issue on most connections. However once you have downloaded the file you will have it on your hard disk to view with the Adobe Acrobat Reader at your leisure. Be assured that the file size to file quality ratio has been averaged and you will be downloading the most streamlined file we can offer.

Alternatively you can open the issue in a new window (left-click) and download a page at a time, this may seem quicker but we recommend downloading the complete file.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed on 110 Million systems already and is FREE to download.

The KWS recommend you use a download management program such as Download Accelerator, Lightning Download or Flashget. This way if you cannot continue to download after two minutes for some reason, you can come back at another time to continue where you left off.

File sizes will change from issue to issue.

Remember - only ONE download is necessary to have the issue permanently.
